We need volunteers to help with the Human Rights and Social Justice
Fair.

Information Fair Volunteers - Typical Duties
Volunteers will:
. require to attend a training meeting on Thursday, November 9 or
Friday, November 10 at Noon at MMH 107 to review in advance the
promotional materials of the organization they will represent. Based
on time availability, individual meetings can be scheduled.
. bring information about the goals, strategies and programs of one of
the organizations that can't staff the table but send their promotional
materials to be display at the Information Fair,
. report to the Volunteer Registration Table at the information Fair
Registration prior to her/his scheduled shift to pick up the evaluation
forms and identification tag, and at the end of her/his shift,report
back to the Volunteer Registration Table to drop of the evaluation
forms. Encourage people to complete evaluations,
. wear a white top and a hanging name tag that will identify her/him as
a volunteer (we will supply the tag)
. set up the table of the organization they will represent and collect
the displays at the end of the fair,
. thank people for attending the Information Fair and invite them to
attend other activities available during the day (such as the Film
Festival, Special presentations, Workshop, Keynote, Proclamation of the
Day, the Address),
Requirements:
. Oral communication skills
. Some experience working with people
Snacks and luncheon buffet will be served for all volunteers.
