hey all :)

I hope everyone is doing well :)  Here a few announcements and upcoming events:

UPCOMING EVENTS:

ALAS GBM:  Tuesday, April 7 at 6:30pm in the NEW CBCL (Room 336 Shriver) We will be having an Art Night!  Basically the members are going to share any poems, songs, drawings, movies (possibly a summary of your fave latin american movie) and anything else that you would like to share about latin america.  You do NOT need to write any of these yourselves, it could just be something you've read/studied and liked.  If you would like to participate in Art Night please let me know ASAP so we can have an estimate of how many people are going to be presenting :)

Locura/Carnaval:  Friday, April 17.  Carnaval Location TBA from 5pm-7pm.  Yes, we are having another Locura, we know that a lot of things weren't functioning properly and that we didn't get to enjoy the night to its fullest so we're having another LoCuRa :)  so, if you missed the last Locura you'll have a chance to make it up, and even if you came you can still come again and dance the night away!  

ALSO, we were thinking of auctioning off Exec and any General Body Members who would like to be auctioned off at Carnaval to the highest bidder as an escort to Locura.  What do you guys think of this?  Would anyone be interested in buying someone? Please let me know if you're interested or any other comments you would like to make about this, we welcome any criticisms.  

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Conversacion y Cafe:  Every Wednesday from 4pm-5pm in King Cafe held by our very own Tim Struve :)

Elections:  Elections will be coming up soon, I have attached the responsibilities of the Exec Board so if you're thinking about nominating yourself or someone else read through the responsibilities and see if anything interests you :)
