Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I wanted to remind everyone that the USHLI application is due this Wed Nov. 10. Those people that are in DALAS can just give it to me at our practice, if not I will be at the ALAS office, MacMillan 33, Monday from 3.30 till 5pm and Tuesday from 1pm- till 2.30 and Wed from 12.15 till 3pm. If none of those hours work for you just slide the application under the office door.

I tell you guy about Tunnel of Oppression, "an interactive event that highlights contemporary issues of oppression. it is designed to introduce participants to the concepts of oppression, privilege, and power. Participants are guided through a series of scenes that aim to educate and challenge them to think more deeply about issues of oppression," ALAS is going to be participating in this event Nov 16 and 17th from 1-9pm. We need Volunteers to help us out with the scene we have designed. You do not need to work all those hours, whatever amount of time you want to dedicate it would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know as soon as possible.

If you want more information on the Tunnel of Oppression here is the website: http://www.units.muohio.edu/saf/reslife/tunnel/index.htm
