Secular Students of Miami in conjunction with Pro-choice Miami and Zoology Club, are pleased to invite you to an evening with Christopher Hitchens, a prominent author, journalist, and vocal atheist, who will be discussing his book, God is Not Great, How Religion Poisons Everything, Wednesday, March 17th at 7:30pm in the Farmer School of Business, room 1000. Please come early, doors will open at 7pm. We hope to see many people there!

The Holy Trinity Episcopal Church Social Justice Commission invites you to attend a showing of the award wining documentary movie In Whose Honor, March 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the undercroft of Holy Trinity Church (25 East Walnut St). This film presents the argument against using American Indian mascots for sports teams. This is a current issue both locally and nationally. Locally an effort is underway to change the Talawanda High School mascot from The Braves to to one without reference to persons, their ethnicity or gender . A brief discussion will follow the movie. Snacks and drinks will be provided along with childcare. The event is open to the public.
