    I am sending you this message on behalf of Amy Boyle who is the Chair of th
e Student Initiative Fund.  This is to let you know that the fund exists and
that the  deadline is coming up on Wednesday February 17, 1999.  This fund is s
imilar to Market Place only it is available to all organizations and individual
s.  THis fund is to help fund NEW ideas for the campus.  There is no limit to t
he amount of money your organization can receive if the project is 'worthy' and
 will benefit the community.  The applications are outside the Student Governme
nt Office (374 Shriver).  If you have any questions or concerns you can reach
