Yes, wrong because you have already identified the entity. The title is additional, not essential, information. Also, the comma should precede the quotation marks.

Thank you all for the answers to my punc. query. Looks like I will have
to face the (non)restrictive beast after all. A lot of students get it
with relative clauses. We'll see how they do with titles.
But, in response to Michael Kischner, would this really be wrong?
After writing her sole but masterful short story "The Man in the Boat",
Marissa Thingamajig disappeared into obscurity. (pardon the uncreative
example)
This seems to be perfectly fine to me.
