I think that my computer was sending some messages only to the original
writers instead of to the listserv this morning.  I wanted to be sure
everyone got this one, so I'll repeat it.  Bob Yates is absolutely right
when he says that the Missouri requirement of grammar study is only for
middle and secondary teacher candidates.  Park University has unilaterally
extended that requirement to early childhood education and elementary
candidates.  I get so used to our requirement that I sometimes forget that
the state has not mandated all of it.
