I have not considered this listserv to be an especially active one
compared to some of the others I subscribe to, all of which are
moderated.

Yes, the job of moderating does take some time but not as much as
you indicate.  Right now, there are only about 300 subscribers
to ATEG-L.

The listserv must be set to the following: "All postings sent to
list owner for review."  That is not the current setting now from
the listserv at Miami University Ohio.

Jim Dubinsky and Max Mohrenberg are the list "owners" and need
to decide if this work can be divided between them or delegated
to someone else (not I!).

This listserv will never grow--and is, frankly, somewhat
embarrassing--as long as anyone who subscribes may post anything
he or she wishes, including Viagra commercials, Nigerian scam
letters, porn announcements or political statements.
