I recently received the following announcement from Millie Davis, the NCTE
Director of Affiliate and Member Services (which includes Assembly
matters):

Now you and members of all the NCTE assemblies can connect on-line via the
NCTE assemblies listserv. You can exchange good ideas, ask questions,
etc.... through this listserv we can build a nationwide network of NCTE
assembly leaders and member working together.

To subscribe to assemblies, send E-mail to

[log in to unmask]

Leave the subject line blank, and in the first line of the note put

subscribe assemblies


This should be a good recruiting tool for ATEG.  And we do need members!
When we reach 150--and I think we're close--we will have an automatic
program spot at the NCTE convention.  The more members, the more spots!
