Can't our listserv be configured so that subscribe/unsubscribe information is
automatically appended at the bottom of each message?

In addition to those messages, the entire list also gets many private messages
intended only for a single individual. The listserv is configured so that
replies go to the entire list. To send a reply only to the sender of a
message, people need to click on "Forward" and insert the sender's address.
One problem is that some e-mail programs show the sender's address for incoming
mail from a listserv, and others don't. When I use Netscape mail, the sender's
address is visible. When I use Webmail, it isn't. May I suggest that
contributors state their e-mail address in the body of their messages so we
don't all get other people's mail?
