I promised a while ago that I would put a handout of mine on my web page
that gives a breakdown of English syntax according to general modern
linguistic ideas. Part of this is now available at:

http://www.multimedia.calpoly.edu/libarts/jrubba/SyntaxT&C.html

I welcome comments and suggestions. Consider it a proposal for
partial content of an SSS document.

Johanna
