Bill,
I do have the Copper version but I have never seen the CD. I found
twelve supplement soft-cover books (but not Spanish Speakers Handbook).
Of the supplemental books, I use materials that relate to vocabulary
development -- lists of prefixes, etc and mechanics (grammar and
punctuation, capitalization). I have given the diagnostic test for
grammar, etc. I have given the punctuation/capitalization assessments.
I use KISS grammar worksheets to assess grammar.

I have an anthology series (Celebrate Reading, Scott Foresman) with
workbooks but do not use them. I use the newspaper and magazines for
non-fiction materials. For fiction, I have a book list from which the
students choose books. Literature groups are put together based upon
those choices.
