I read with great interest John Crow's article in the March issue of the
English Journal.

Did anyone else see the article? I liked the focus on teaching writing
with an emphasis on the process of reading. I think it's an unusual
approach, and might help many of my students.

Over the years I've noticed how much some of my 8th graders struggle with
reading. Any information I can get about the reading process is helpful
to me.
