Dear ATEGers,
 
Thanks to everyone who attended the 16th Annual Conference in Chicago for making my *first ever* ATEG conference an enjoyable and delightful experience. It was a great thrill for me to meet so many of you whose names I have known from the listserv and whose books and articles I have read.
 
And thanks especially for making me feel so welcome as the new editor of our journal. There is a lot of work to be done, but many have expressed a willingness to help. So, consider this a CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS. We need articles, book reviews, and other relevant content. Send book reviews to Marshall Myers at Eastern Kentucky University ([log in to unmask]). Send all other submissions to me at Texas Tech University ([log in to unmask]). When you submit something, please submit double-spaced manuscripts in Microsoft Word .doc or .rtf format, sent as email attachments.
 
We hope to have the next issue out sometime in September. In the meantime, I'm eager to hear your ideas about how we can make our journal/newsletter serve our organization better.
