Thanks for the cites!

Jeff made another important distinction, which is worth highlighting, I
think -- between what to teach students at different levels and what to
teach teachers of students. As Brock suggested, a grammar pedagogy has to
begin with the question, "grammar for what purposes... and for whom?"
