I have been away from the ATEG list for several years now. I can't speak
for K-12 teachers, but I can observe, in response to Martha Kolln's
concern about the conversation getting "too complicated," that I find it
extremely refreshing. I belong to several listserves, and ATEG manages to
maintain, by far, the most interesting and intelligent conversations about
language. Thank you all for the time you have put into framing questions
and responses.
