I teach Language Arts to 8th grade humans right now, but such was not always
the case:  I worked with Koko the signing gorilla for several years, and
despite all the passionate ups and downs about what signing primates know or
do not know, I can tell you from first-hand experience that Koko is well
aware of the difference between "Koko eat sandwich" and "Sandwich eat Koko!"!
