May I make a humble request to limit the abbreviations that writers use
in their posts?  I am really struggling to follow this discussion on
indirect and direct objects.  Abbreviations are only confusing me.  I find
myself getting lost in the abbreviations, and not always sure if I'm
interpreting correctly.
