Hi Guys,
Professor Megan Gerhardt (Buck Rodgers Advisor)would like to reach out to
all business organizations and fraternities to enlist their support for
the upcoming Red Mitten Campaign. Here are the details:
Red Mitten...What is it? Each year, the Farmer School of Business
sponsors families in the Talawanda School District that have been
identified as needing a helping hand. We create red mittens listing the
needs of members of these families, and hang these mittens in Farmer
Hall. These needs range from warm clothes to books and toys. Students,
faculty, and staff take these mittens, buy the needed items, and drop them
off to us. We work with the Talawanda Schools to make sure the items reach
the families in time for the holidays.
How Can We Help? This year, the need is greater than ever. We are
challenging our students to become more involved in this project. We
would like your student group to consider sponsoring a family member or a
family. If you would like to be involved, please determine the way that
would best fit your organization and indicate below. You can then email
this form back to Mason Hood ([log in to unmask]) and you will be contacted
with further information.
We know there are many good causes that your groups support every year,
and we are hopeful that you will join us in warming the hearts of those
most in need through our Red Mitten Campaign.
Please return the form indicating interest no later than November 19th.
Items will need to be dropped off in 1022 FSB by December 5th.
Option 1: Our organization/group would love to sponsor a family! (A
family may range in size from approximately 3-6 people). Please contact us
with the red mittens created for one family, and we will shop for those
items that family needs and return them to the Red Mitten Campaign
Option 2: Our organization (or individuals within the organization) would
love to help by sponsoring individual red mittens. Please contact us with
___ (please state #) of mittens and we will shop for those items and
return them to the Red Mitten Campaign.
Option 3: Our organization would like to make a monetary donation to the
Red Mitten Campaign to go toward the needed items. _____________ (please
note: we cannot accept checks—donations can be made in the form of gift
cards to a place of your choice, or cash that will be used to buy needed
items).
