To Presidents of Business Student Organizations:

Assistant Dean of Advising, Marti Kyger, needs our help. We would 
appreciate your assistance in helping the school select a student speaker 
for the FSB divisional commencement ceremony.

We will select one graduating senior to provide brief remarks to the 
graduating class and guests.  In addition to the nominations made by 
faculty , we’d like to have a recommendation from your organization, as 
well.

Your organization is invited to nominate one graduating senior. We are 
seeking someone who has excellent presentation skills, a positive outlook 
and, of course, a student who would make fine representation for the School 
and the University.   Your nominee is not required to be a member of your 
organization, but simply the individual you would most like to see 
represent the senior class.  Your nominee will be considered along with 
names of others submitted by the School’s faculty; we will then narrow the 
field and finalize a decision.  

As the final decision needs to be made by early March, if you would like to 
participate, please email the name of your nominee to me by Tuesday,  
February 15.   Included in the nomination should be a statement as to why 
you would recommend this individual (contributions or improvements made, 
leadership examples, role he/she has filled, etc.)
