WORKSHOP TITLE: Senior Officials Workshop for WMD/Terrorism
Incident Preparedness

DATE: March 22rd, 2006

LOCATION: Butler Tech Public Safety Education
Complex
5140 Princeton Glendale Road (SR 747)
				Liberty Township, OH 45011

TIME: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
Recent events have demonstrated the need for every community to analyze
its emergency response plans and ask individuals to review his or her
specific role in a response. Whether the incident is a natural
disaster, man-made accident, Pandemic Influenza or an attack, the
resulting damage will require a well-planned and -executed, coordinated
response.
The National Emergency Response and Rescue Training Center (NERRTC)
will be offering a one day workshop to begin a discussion that I believe
will strengthen relationships in the community and provide innovation as
we share best practices among ourselves. This workshop will include a
facilitated discussion designed to provide an opportunity to coordinate
with our mutual aid partners and offer solutions and new ideas where
needed. The attached documents will tell you more about these events.
This workshop is delivered by adjunct faculty from Texas A&M University
Extension and is certified by the Office for Domestic Preparedness.
Potential executive-level issues will be discussed within the
crisis/consequence management framework.
