Hello everyone,

I hope your week has been going well so far!

This is a final reminder that the screening of the movie Straight Out of Compton will be held this Friday February 19th at 5:30pm in MacMillan Great Room. There will be pizza and drinks provided for everyone who has RSVP'd for the event. If you have not done so already I have attached the link at the bottom of this email. Please RSVP by tomorrow at 5pm!

Also, we will be collecting cases of water to send to Flint, Michigan for the water crisis that is currently being experienced by several families at the moment. We will be collecting only cases of water due to certain health code regulations and shipping restrictions. Please take a look at the attached form for the donation guidelines I have attached before you make a purchase. Remember to bring CASES OF WATER ONLY.

The cases of water will be loaded onto pallets and sent via UPS. The cases will then be sent to the Center for Hope, located at 517 E. Fifth Ave. Flint, MI 48503. Catholic Charities distributes water every day through their Community Closet and North End Soup Kitchen. They also share water with distribution points throughout the city of Flint. Their Community Closet and Soup Kitchens provide personal hygiene items, clothing, blankets, baby items like diapers and formula, and warm meals for those in need, all throughout the city. Any support in this time of crisis would be very appreciated! They are finding themselves short on other resources these days, as more and more of the neighbors in need are coming to receive water.

If you would like to see more information about the efforts currently going on in Flint you can go to www.ccsgc.org/flint-water-crisis and follow the links.

Also, you can donate money directly to the organization by following the link or other several organizations that can be found here https://good360.org/flint-michigan/ (In partnership with Wal-Mart, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, & Nestle)
www.gofundme.com/waterforflintCCSGC.

We hope that the community will get together to make a very supportive contribution to the families in need during this time and make #MiamiToFlint great! If you are not able to attend the movie but will still like to donate a case of water please contact me ([log in to unmask])! Remember, anyone is able to donate water!

If you have any further questions don't hesitate to contact me. Hope to see you Friday!
