Portfolio stuff is taking a lot of time at the moment. In between that, I'm
reading Mary Lousie Pratt's "Arts of the Contact Zone"--which I had the
impression that several of us were reading in relation to our past discussions.

I'll post a response when I'm done.

--But I do sense a little lack of direction in myself and others about what
to do and how to use the list.

My intent (as soon as a few other priority projects are out of the way next
week) is to begin re-reading several of the things we read during the year and
to write some kind of summary/commentary on them with the new teacher in mind
as an audience. I'm thinking this should help me re-connect and focus what we
've done over the year into more of a coherent project and should also
stimulate my thinking about likely bibliography items.

What do others see themselves doing? What do you see us doing together on this
list?
