Elementary/Middle Grades Science Education, Assistant Professor

Tenure-Track 

Candidates must have earned doctorate in the area of science education or
related field, and experience teaching science to elementary and/or middle
grades students. ABD considered. Preference will be given to individuals
with one, or more, of the following: teaching experience in diverse schools,
evidence of collaboration with colleagues, a record of scholarly work,
active participation in professional organizations, and experience
supervising practicum students and student teachers. Responsibilities
include: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses; supervising field
experiences; working collaboratively with colleagues in online and on-campus
courses in urban/rural/suburban field-based programs; engaging in scholarly
activity; assisting with academic advising; engaging in community and
university service; and participating in the outreach activities of NKUšs
Program of Distinction, CINSAM, the Center for Integrative Natural Sciences
