Associate or Full Professor Position in Science Education

The Department of Mathematics and Science Education at the University of Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Science Education Program at the associate or full professor level. We are seeking an individual with a doctoral degree in science education or closely related field and a strong background in one of the natural sciences. Teaching experience in science at the precollege level is preferred. The successful candidate should have demonstrated evidence of scholarship at the highest levels within the field of science education.  Successful experience as the principal investigator of large grants funded by federal agencies and/or private foundations is also desired. Evidence of an active and on-going research agenda as well as continued leadership at the national and/or international level is essential.

To initiate the application process submit a letter of application that clearly describes your primary area(s) of expertise and the specific contributions that you would make to research and teaching, and a curriculum vita.  Please list the names of four persons who can provide professional references.
