The Center for Science and the Schools seeks an experienced educator with
expertise in secondary science education and an M.Ed. or Ph.D. in science
education for the position of Research Associate.  The Center
(http://csats.psu.edu) supports the development of mutually beneficial and
sustainable collaborations between K-12 education, Penn State scientists and
engineers, and scholars in related fields. The Research Associate will work
closely with the Director and will have responsibility for collaborating
with scientists and engineers on design and implementation of teacher
professional development opportunities and classroom science activities.
This position offers opportunities to contribute to the development of high
quality programs in science education.
