Dear Organic Chemistry Instructor,		

This is just a reminder email for those individuals who wish to
participate in this research project and have not yet completed a
survey. If you plan on participating, please do so by January 31st as
the survey will close on that date and we will be moving forward with
this project. For those of you who have already contributed to this
research project, we sincerely appreciate your assistance.

I am a graduate student interested in student conceptions in organic
chemistry. I have selected you for your experience in teaching organic
chemistry and I hope that you will assist me in my research by agreeing
to participate. The goal is probe the expertise of some organic
chemistry educators in an effort to develop a reliable and valid measure
of student understanding of acid/base concepts that are important in
organic chemistry. Participation would merely entail the completion of
the attached/linked questionnaire and possibly a few short follow up
questions conducted via e-mail. In return for your participation, I will
be happy to provide you with a summary of the results of this project.
