Hey Chad,
When AVG upgraded from 7.1 to 7.5, we had an issue where we could detect
a clean 7.5 install, but would fail if the client was upgraded from 7.1
(see bug ID CSCsl14478).
Its possible we are hitting something like that. I tested AVG 8 (clean
install) here, so I am pretty sure that will work. I'd like to test out
the upgrade method to see if that fails, but I am out of the office
today and not sure if I will get around to it. Can you give the clean
install a try (ie: uninstall any AVG products from the system, reboot,
and then install 8.0 fresh) and see if it lets you on?
Thanks,
Nate
