Cisco/Perfigo has been quite clear all along. The manager and the
server MUST be on the same version.
The client is a different matter, and has backwards and forwards
support.
Note, I have no idea what the change on 3.5.5 on the client and the
server have on the backwards compatibility, since they changed the
communication protocol. The rest of my statement is conjecture. I would
imagine they would support older clients, with the idea of forcing them
to upgrade to the new client.
I'm running 3.5.4 on the CAS and CAM, and 3.5.6 on the clients. (All of
my clients, I made them all upgrade) Unless the wheels fall off, we
plan on running this way till December. (No changes during the school
year, if we can help it)
