We check for a valid, up to date AV and that Windows be up to date. We
don't require a specific AV, just a current one.

The biggest wrinkle with allowing any AV is when a user has a trial AV
that came with their PC. When it expires it will no longer accept
updates. The agent cannot tell if it's expired. When they click on the
"Update Now" button, they get the message that the update launched
successfully, but nothing about it being expired. Until they go and
check in the AV itself, they don't see it.

We offer the users Symantec Antivirus 9. Since it's our copy, we know
it'll stay current and the installer we made automatically installs in
Managed mode, so we can push the updates down to the users. 99% of the
time, the users with expired AV take ours since 1. It's free and 2. They
don't have to manually update.
