The Linux box would not show up in online users but would show up in
Certified Devices (minus the IP address).  I verified this behavior with
MAC/OS also.

Also, check your display settings for Monitoring->Online users.

There are 2 tabs - "View Online users" and "Display Settings". Make sure
the IP address is checked.
