Yeah, I saw that. They also say that your firewall and ISP (!) must be
compatible with Nintendo. They do not appear to be much help to business
users.

I have done some research on the Wii and other game systems to get them
to work through our firewall. It's a matter of opening specific outbound
ports. I found this info on Nintendo's website:
http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/onlineFirewall.jsp

TCP: Allow traffic to all destinations on ports: 28910, 29900, 29901,
29920, 80, and 443

UDP: Allow all traffic to all destinations. (Necessary for peer-to-peer
connections and game play). Our Network Test tool can be used from a
computer behind your firewall to test if outbound UDP is allowed.

The TCP requirments are not that bad, but the all outbound UDP is a
back-breaker.

There is also info on that website about the WiFi USB connector. If
you're using the wired one, I bet you just need to open the ports.

Datel LanAdapter for Nintendo Wii, a USB to Ethernet adapter. The user
(one of our techs) purchased it from Best Buy.

Yes.

Wireless.

How'd you get the wired to work?
