Rand,

I agree with you especially the resetting of the views on Agent reports and Online users. It seems like I
run into that problem every day.

I would also add to the list the following:

If you give your help desk the ability to kick users, it allows them to kick all users. The buttons can
be confusing to others and they could by mistake click on the kick users button (which is bad) instead of clicking on the X above the column.

It would be helpful in the group permissions to be able to give groups the ability to kick single users and
not all users. I had to remove the ability for the help desk to kick users for the fear of someone kicking
every user off the system.

If I remember right, the certified device list has the same problem (all or none).

Or at the very least, a confirmation box with warnings before kicking everyone off.

I feel better too :)

John

Every once in a while (OK, every day :-) I say to myself I need to tell
someone how frustrating the CCA GUI is sometimes. Here are four
examples. Some concepts (like the default action of the Return key) can
be found in many areas beside the example given.

Monitoring > Event Logs

Type search text and press Return. The default (Return) action of form
is to "Reset View"--very helpful

Device Management > Clean Access > Clean Access Agent > Reports

Sort the list, move to page 10, or filter the list somehow (ex. Show
just failures), "view" a report, list goes back to default. That is, you
can't work on a subset--if you want to look at JSmith's 5 failures you
need to search for him 5 times (and then keep track of which ones you've
looked at)

Monitoring > Online Users > View Online Users

Similar to above, modify view, delete a record, view reverts back to
"show all"

Monitoring > Online Users > View Online Users

Sorting (clicking on column head) is case sensitive.

OK, I feel better now ;-)

Cheers,
Rand
