I know that we are fed up with the lack of updates and will look at Bradford instead of renewing!!!!
Thanks

Yet another reason why Cisco is losing college/university NAC customers for companies like Bradford. Lack of regular updates.

We are using Cam/CAS 4.50 with the 4.51 windows client.
Norton 15 (2008) and 16 (2009) only work if they do not have the large . 5
patch applied if they do they fail if not they work.
Patch refrence from Symantec is here:

Avg 8.0 works fine with no custom check both paid and free.
Avg 8.5 does not work. There is a bug open in ciscos database CSCsy21096
CCA doesn't detect AVG 8.5 version. There is a fix checked in and its
staus is marked as "Fixed-In Release-Pending".
I really wish they would release it already. Im the college setting many
students opt for the free antivirus products.
