Its not exactly an upgrade script - it makes a backup of the complete
system and then sends it as a tarball to a remote (non-cca) box. You
then do a clean install of the CAMs and CASs and restore the tarball...

They have an upgrade script? My understanding was that if you were
moving to 3.6.x you needed to format and do a fresh install

Subject: Upgrade 3.5.8 to 3.6.2 script doesn't run
Hi all!
I am trying to do an upgrade from 3.5.8 to 3.6.2 per Cisco's recommended
procedure. I have copied the upgrade tarball to the Cam's /store
directory, untarballed it, switched to the upgrade directory and run the
command > ./UPGRADE-3.6.2.pl but nothing happens - it just drops me back
to the prompt. The directions say I will see a banner and the system
backup will begin, but that doesn't seem to be happening. I am not a
Linux type so I don't know what steps to take to determine what is (or
isnt) happening. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Jeff
