Deborah,

Can you check the VPN policy for the user role and make sure it is
enabled?
Also, the IP pool that you have specified for PPTP, is it a valid IP
pool with valid routes upstream?

Subject: VPN

Hello all!

Has anyone been able to make VPN work with Clean Access on a wireless
network? I've configured everything according to the instructions, and
although it appears to log in, I am not able to access network
resources. I used the following instructions:

SecureSmart VPN setup

Click on Manage for the secure server.
Click on Networking then IPSEC.
Select what you want the VPN policy to be. You can change the default
key if you want. Enable the Dynamic IPSEC key.
Update and Restart IPSEC.
Click on PPTP and enable.
Restart PPTP Service.

WINDOW VPN setup

Right Click on My Network Places.
Select Properties
In the left window click on Create a new connection.
In Network Connection Type choose the second option 'Connect to network
at my workplace'.
Next choose Virtual Private Network connection.
Give it a new.
Assign the IP address of the Untrusted site.
You can add a shortcut to your desktop or just click finish.

VPN sign in

Click on properties.
The top tab Networking Tab
Change the type to PPTP VPN.
Click on the Security tab.
Uncheck the Require data encryption.
Click ok.
Enter the user name and the default password 'perfigokey'
You should be all set.

Global VPN Policy is enabled, so that's not the problem. Also, I can
"log in" without a username or password- I just can't access anything!
Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
