Christopher,

I wanted to pass along this website that I located this evening. We've seen a few of these since students came back with Clean Access identifying some as Android while some were seen as Mac OS X.

This is with the Kindle Fire Silk Browser and explains what causes the different user agents.

We’re having some problems with Kindle Fires inconsistently identifying as different Oss (Android, Mac OS X, and Linux), and are looking at the possibility of wildcard filtering them. Has anyone compiled a list of known Kindle and Kindle Fire OUIs, as with the gaming devices a few years back?

Thanks,
