The Department of Communication Studies is seeking to fill a tenure track,
faculty position with a scholar whose primary specialization is in small
group decision-making, beginning September 1, 1998.  Applicants should have
a completed Ph.D.  Individuals who are assistant professors or beginning
associate professors are preferred.  Applicants must have strong background
in quantitative methods of interaction analysis and secondary interest in
organizational communication.  Please send a letter of interest, vita, and
three letters of recommendations: Michael E. Roloff, Chair, Search
Committee, Department of Communication Studies, 1815 Chicago
Avenue, Evanston, IL 60208-1340.  Consideration of applications will begin
January 1, 1998 and will continue until the position is filled.
