Spatial Statistics Workshop

Date: November 16, 2006
Time: 8am-4pm
Location: 110 King Library

A workshop on spatial stat methods is scheduled for
November 16, 2006. This topic has relevance for
statisticians, ecologists, geographers, GIS specialists,
and anyone else interested in data that are collected
spatially. Professor Lance Waller of Emory University
will be presenting. Lance is a great speaker, and the
co-author of a recent Wiley book addressing spatial
methods. It would be worth freeing up your schedule to
participate in this all-day workshop.

This free workshop is being sponsored
by the CACR, RCS, PAEA grant, and the SCC (how about that
for an alphabet soup!). Both faculty and grad students
may be interested in this workshop.

For additional information and workshop registration, see
http://www.muohio.edu/cacr/activities. Register soon!

Thanks,
J. Bailer

P.S. There is also a GIS day on Nov. 15 that will be hosted
      at King Library.
