Hello,

Hank Stevens asked me to pass this along:

This Friday (3-4PM) Jeffrey Steers will be speaking on "Protecting &
Restoring Our Environment: Collaborating for Results." His talk is
part of Botany's seminar series (218 Pearson Hall); Carolyn Keiffer
is hosting.

Jeffrey Steers is Regional manager for JFNew, a major consulting and
restoration firm. JFNew implements many of the practices recognized
by ecologists as optimal restoration guidelines, including long term
monitoring to determine outcomes of particular projects. JFNew
collaborates with and funds academic scientists, expanding their
scope of abilities.
