Subject: Environmental Issues- Environmental (In)Justice symposium

Hello everyone,

the next installment of the Environmental Issues symposium will be this Wednesday, March 25th at 5pm in 107 Boyd Hall. Omar Freilla who will be speaking about his experiences in suffering from and responding to environmental injustices and racism and how these helped motivate him to create the Green Worker Cooperatives. Tom Dutton from the Department of Architecture and Interior Design will also be joining us to discuss his on-going work with the community leaders of Over-the-Rhine in Cincinatti.

I would be greatly appreciative if you would attend this event, and invite others, as it is not often that we are able to bring in speakers "from the outside."

see the attached flier for more information.

hope to see you all there!

Lauren
