Greetings Ecolunch Listservers!
I wanted to let you all know about a great volunteer opportunity next month (Nov 10-12).

Once again Miami University is partnering with Caching Our World to bring over 300 3rd-5th graders to Miami’s Hamilton campus for a day of geography-related activities. Students will learn about the geography of South America through crafts, marketplace interactions, Google Earth, and cultural entertainment.

Volunteers are needed for every day (although there is a greater need on Tuesday due to the number of students attending). Volunteers are needed from 9:30am to 1:30 pm. You do NOT need to be available for the entire time block in order to volunteer.

Volunteers will help shepherd children around the conference center as they move between activity stations. Volunteers are also needed to man the activity stations. Free refreshments will be provided to all volunteers.

Please contact Robbyn Abbitt in the Department of Geography at 529-5016, [log in to unmask] if you are interested.
If you would like to volunteer but do not have transportation, please contact Robbyn.

Feel free to pass this along to people you think might be interested!
Attached PDF also contains all information.

Thanks!
Robbyn Abbitt
