Dear Colleagues,
Attached please find the posters (ppt and pdf) and press release for
next week's Roger Wilson Lecture in Ecology.  Please invite the
students in your classes.  Basic info is below.

Dr. Bryan Endress will give the Botany Department’s annual Roger  E.
Wilson Memorial Lecture on Wed. April 10 at 7 pm in  116 PSN.
Reception to follow in 314 PSN.
"Applied conservation research:  challenges and opportunities in a
complex world.'
Dr. Endress is Director of Applied Plant Ecology at the San Diego Zoo
Institute for Conservation Research

Dr. Endress will also give the Botany Seminar on Fri April 12 at 3:15
pm in 218 PSN
"The effects of episodic disturbance-ungulate herbivory interactions
on forest dynamics."
