Dear Friends;
Gerlinde Berger-Walliser and I would like to bring to your attention to a Call for Participation by a group of scholars and faculty in business schools in France. The website for further information is: http://aerdge.wp.it-sudparis.eu/ See the Appel à contributions tab for information about papers and panels; the deadline for the first step of submitting an abstract (which may be in English) is April 15th and the conference will be in Paris on the 28th and 29th of January, 2013. The abstracts will be reviewed, and if accepted the presentations may be made in English. (Of course, it goes without saying that French is also an acceptable language for submission and participation.)
This is the first meeting of this organization of faculty, and they are posing interesting questions about:
1) the relationship between law and organizational management in the 21st century, and
2) the normative framework for legal teaching and research in the Grande Ecoles.
We think that these topics may be of interest to ALSB members because of your research and long standing discussion of similar issues. In a global educational and organizational environment, there are sure to be both interesting comparisons and common ground.
Best regards,
Janine and Gerlinde
(In the interest of transparency, Gerlinde and I serve as members of the review committee.)
