I think it would be appropriate to have a counseling type competition
where students analyze a business case type situation and develop an
action plan for how to address the legal and ethical issues. This is
after all what our students will be asked to do as managers during their
business careers. They could present their analysis and recommendations
formally as if to senior management.

Subject: suggestions for competition for our students
Hi all--The wonderful woman, Genave Rogers, who endowed the Bus Law Ctr
here at the University of Tulsa has presented me with a very exciting
opportunity. Since it will benefit all of our students, I would love to
hear your suggestions. She is willing to give whatever funds are needed
to create an annual new, outstanding national/international competition
related to business law. She is interested in something other than mock
trial and research/writing because there are a number of opportunities
already available for these. The awards would be financially
substantial for our students, and for those thinking of law school or
grad school, would be fantastic assistance.
My first thought was a team competition involving best resolution of a
case with both legal and ethical components. Any other ideas? Would
love your input... Thanks!
Susan
