These guys are too old to have much testosterone left. They're just
idiots.

I just want to remind everyone that Bob Knight shot his hunting buddy in
the shoulder, elbow, back, and buttock in 1999 during a Wisconsin
hunting trip, putting the buddy in the hospital. Knight followed up by
browbeating the guy over the phone while he was on pain medication so
that he would lie to then-IU president Myles Brand about the incident.
The buddy filed a negligence lawsuit in federal court against Knight in
2001 (in Wisconsin, not in Indiana of course). So maybe this kind of
thing DOES happen all the time among testosterone-poisoned individuals.

You spell the way you spelled it, Ginny.
The guy he shot was Harry Whittington, 78, a long-time Austin lawyer.
He's apparently as ok as one can be with shotgun pellets in his face and
neck. The owner of the ranch blew it off and said this kind of thing
happens all the time. Gimmee a break.....

If Cheney shot this guy, this guy could have shot Cheney. What was
anyone doing with a loaded gun in the presence of the vice president?
The secret service must be apoplectic (how do you spell apoplectic?).
