Murray, Robert, Terrence, Janine, Thanks a lot for your
responses, In fact, instead
of dealing with WestLaw from now on, I'm going to consult a primary
source, ALSB
Listserv.
You've shed a lot of light on a carrier's responsibility for regional
misdeeds/disasters,
but of after-the-fact liability is only poor compensation for the
loss of a son/daughter,
etc. I wonder if anyone has an update on the steps main line
carriers have taken to
rectify the problem, and why the FAA was so silent in this. All this
time, FAA must
have been asleep at the wheel.
