The slippery slope is very apparent.
Even more scary are the implications of the Ceballos case. Our U.S.
Supreme Court took away public employees' First Amendment right of
comment and dissent within the work place. Even though the public
employee (attorney) was demoted for uncovering and testifying about
improprieties of criminal affidavits, the Court said he had NO FIRST
AMENDMENT rights in that context.
First Amendment rights were limited to political comments OUTSIDE work.
There is dicta suggesting an exception might be made for academic
settings, but there is no guarantee.

Hmmm...
Wouldn't this fail First Amendment muster as a content-based restriction
on political speech?

Keith,
I don't know any evangelical Christians who support this kind of gestapo
legislation. This is truly scary!
