Tonia,
Our official campus Pre-Law Adviser is from the Political Science Department. However, there is a Pre-Law Advisement Committee at The College of New Jersey which all of the faculty with JDs serve on, irrespective of department. Additionally, a member of the history faculty as well as the campus counsel serve on the committee.
We are all available to any student seeking advice although I do see mostly business students since I am in the School of Business and business students tend to seek me out.
Nancy

Hi, all. I’ve been asked to serve as Pre-Law Advisor for the College of Business at Notre Dame. I know that many of you serve in that capacity at your institutions. Any advice would be much appreciated.
My dean has asked how common it is for there to be a pre-law advisor serving just the business students. I would be advising our business majors and working to coordinate with the university’s pre-law advisor. So I’d be interested in knowing whether you serve your entire university, or just your College of Business.
Thanks for any information you can provide. Best regards--Tonia
