I posted something about this last week but now we have a more formal
call for papers. Erase this now if you have no interest in business ethics
publishing opportunities.

The Online Journal of Ethics

Call For Papers

The Institute for Business & Professional Ethics is proud to
announce the first online journal of business and professional ethics. The
Online Journal of Ethics explores both theoretical and applied ethical
issues involved in the practice of business and the professions. We
welcome submissions on theoretical topics such as the character and
extent of social responsibility of business and the professions, the nature of
the professions, and the relation between business/professional ethics and
other ethics (Kantian, virtue, utilitarian, etc.). The journal will also publish
papers that address pressing ethical issues in a more topical fashion. Such
topics would include, e.g., the ethics of diversity training programs,
downsizing initiatives, various pre-employment screening methods,
empowerment, total quality management, different technologies used by
corporations, and leadership, among other ideas.

The journal is an interactive mechanism which allows readers to
submit comments relating to the issues presented in a particular article to
the editorial staff using a submission form at the beginning of the article.
Editorial staff will post comments back to the web site so that they may be
read by other visitors to the site. The journal will publish two issues per
year, with periodic updates to the site. It is located at:

http://condor.depaul.edu/ethics/ethg1.html

Submissions should be sent on disk (ds,hd) in WordPerfect format
5.1 or above, along with a hard copy, to Laura Pincus, Department of
Management, DePaul University, One E. Jackson, Chicago, IL 60604.
Papers should be of medium length (10-25 pp.). Authors should not use
traditional legal research citations, nor footnotes or endnotes as these
Wordperfect formats are not represented on the internet. Instead, please
use short parenthetical references in the body of the paper, with complete
references provided at the end of the paper (similar to traditional business
or philosophy research references). Other code types, such as bold,
underline and italics are acceptable.
